Pearls and Poetry collects anonymous data – statistics pertaining to website traffic, referrals, browser usage, etc.

Pearls and Poetry also collects personal data – only what is necessary to fulfil orders and answer customer queries. These include names, email addresses and physical addresses. This information is only used for ordering purposes.

Customer addresses are provided to Australia Post for the purposes of delivering orders. Phone numbers, if provided by customers, are also recorded on parcels, so that freight providers may easily contact customers in the event that delivery problems are encountered. During checkout, destination countries and postcodes are sent to the Australia Post online system, to obtain immediate shipping quotes.

Financial information (i.e. credit card and bank account details) are handled by the payment services provider PayPal. Pearls and Poetry has no contact with credit card, bank, or other such details stored on Paypal.

Personal information is shared only with Australia Post and PayPal as necessary, for the purposes of completing orders. All personal information is otherwise kept confidential, and is never transferred to any third parties, or used for the distribution of unsolicited material.
