How to Order

Orders may be made on the online store, or if preferred, by e-mail. Some items are also available on Etsy.
 

Vouchers

Vouchers may be redeemed during checkout. Just enter the voucher code to apply the appropriate discount. Vouchers may also be purchased for gifting. Each voucher is accompanied with a box of perfume samples for the lucky recipient to try.

Pearls and Poetry vouchers are not accepted through Etsy. They can only be issued and redeemed at pearlsandpoetry.com.
 

Payment Methods

Payments are accepted through PayPal, direct bank deposits and Australia Post Money Orders. To ensure that you receive your order as soon as possible, payments are best made through PayPal, which processes payments immediately and allows your order to be shipped as soon as possible.
 

Turnaround Time and Shipping

All items listed on the website are in stock, so most orders ship within 1 business day of clearing payment, unless there are unusual circumstances (e.g. a particular item is out of stock due to unusually large order requests). You will be contacted by e-mail immediately if this is the case. As all perfumes are freshly made in small batches, there may be a longer turnaround time of up to 7 days if you are ordering unusually large quantities of the same fragrance. Please contact me to discuss turnaround times for larger orders, rush orders or expedited delivery.

Shipping quotes are accurately calculated during checkout, and is based on the size of your order. To find out more about various delivery methods, and how shipping costs are calculated, please refer to the Shipping Information page.
 

Packaging

Pearls and Poetry Liquid Perfumes are freshy bottled in glass roll-ons for easy application. The applicators also prevent leakage, so the perfumes can be carried with you worry-free. Please find creative ways to reuse the bottles, or recycle the components separately – just pop the plastic applicator off using a sharp tool.

Solid Perfumes are encased in hand bag-worthy aluminium compacts with hinged lids, button-closures, durable printed labels and Swarovski crystal embellishments. These quality containers have many possibilities for re-use. They are also recyclable – just pop remove plastic tray with a sharp tool to separate the materials.

All items come in a decorative, yet recyclable, cardboard gift box lined with roses and recycled brown paper shredding.

Returns and Exchanges

Do to hygiene concerns, returns and exchanges are not accepted for both jewellery and fragrance products. Perfume samples are made available to help customers carefully choose perfumes. It is important to test the samples since the listed notes are not conclusive, and the scent of a perfume on skin can vary greatly between individuals. Perfume allergies are also unpredictable, so patch tests of the samples are strongly advised prior to making full-size fragrance purchases.

All orders are well-packed to ensure safe delivery. In the unfortunate event that your order was damaged in transit, please notify me immediately by e-mail and provide a clear photograph of the damaged contents. I will then gladly replace the damaged items at absolutely no cost to you. If the damaged/lost items are one-of-a-kind’s or no longer in stock, and therefore cannot be replaced, I will issue a full refund for the item.

If your shipment taking longer than the expected delivery times, please get in touch, and allow a few more days while I chase up your order. If your order was lost in transit, I will replace the full order at no charge. Again, if the damaged/lost items are one-of-a-kind’s or no longer in stock, I will issue a full refund for the item. Please be sure to notify me of delayed shipments within 7 days after the expected delivery date. Each incident will be considered on a case-by-case basis under my discretion, and orders will not be replaced if I feel that the request was made after an unreasonable amount of time.
